I came here for the first time in January 2011, I had just moved to Antwerp and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. I love the counter around the bar. You can also have dinner at the wooden toog. Every once in a while, during summertime, they also organize live music evenings. Check out the second floor (not always open). The best spot to have breakfast is of course the outdoor terrace, right in the middle of Leopold de Waelplaats.
I would come here for dinner, though it’s one of those typical Belgian places where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’d recommend the Steak with asperges and pasta on the side as main course and the Tarte Tatin as dessert.
